Precious Compass is a network of shops, tribute galleries and reference archives for collectible work. We document, present and steward collectible objects the way serious collectors expect: with context, condition notes, attribution and provenance where it can be established.

Whether the work is still being made or the studio closed decades ago, the aim is the same: present it with care, accuracy and respect for its history.
Artists & sculptors
Working makers whose collectibles circulate on the secondary market. We document editions carefully, present the work in its proper context and make sure collectors can understand the maker behind the object — not just the listing in front of them.
Estates & families
When a maker is no longer here, their catalogue may still be scattered across collections, auction listings and old references. We can help keep that work findable, attributed and documented, where possible in consultation with the family or estate.
Retired brands & licensors
Closed studios and discontinued lines deserve better than an abandoned domain or scattered auction records. We give retired collectible brands a reference home and a more trustworthy place for collectors to orient themselves.

A tribute gallery in your name
A dedicated reference site for your work or brand: editions, characters, marks, production context and collector notes. Built to last, maintained by us, and reviewed with the relevant maker, family or rights holder where possible.
Structured documentation
We work toward a single source of truth for each documented model: maker, sculptor, edition, year, markings, materials and known variants where available. When corrections are made, they are made at the source so the network improves over time.
Careful retail, when it applies
Where collectibles are sold, they are photographed individually, condition-noted honestly and packed for the fragile history they carry. No stock photos, no invented certainty and no careless shortcuts.
Clear rights and attribution
We do not claim ownership over names, rights, images or histories that are not ours. Representation is handled carefully, attributed clearly and, where needed, agreed in writing.
Why is a tribute gallery not charged as a listing service? We do not charge makers or families for a tribute gallery. The network is commercially supported by careful retail activity and collector services.

What you see today is the foundation, not the finished building. The network sites are being brought into one shared design language — the Compass identity — while collector and partner tools are developed in stages.

The Precious websites are moving toward one shared visual identity and structure, so a partner gallery feels part of a coherent collector network rather than a scattered group of sites.
One collector account layer
Precious ID is planned as the account layer for alerts, subscriptions and collector services across the network: one collector relationship, connected to multiple specialist areas.
Reference, provenance & value
The long-term direction is a shared reference catalogue with verified model documentation, provenance records where available and valuation insight based on structured collector data.
Why this matters for partners: joining early means your work can be documented carefully from the start and carried into each future layer with less duplication, fewer errors and better collector context.

A good archive starts with clarity, not volume. The first step is usually a focused review of the work, the available documentation and the level of involvement the maker, family or brand wants.
Tell us what exists
Share the maker, brand, product line, known dates, catalogues, marks, photographs or existing archive material. Uncertainty is acceptable; we separate verified facts from working notes.
Define the boundaries
We clarify what can be documented, what should not be used, who needs to approve sensitive material and whether any rights, names or images require written permission.
Build a useful first layer
The first public version should be modest, accurate and expandable: enough for collectors to find and trust, without pretending that the archive is complete on day one.
Clear expectations before anything is published.
Do you charge makers or families?
Not for a basic tribute gallery or reference presence. The network is supported by retail and collector services. If a larger archive, research project or custom service is requested, that would be discussed separately.
Do you claim ownership of names, rights or images?
No. We do not claim ownership of rights that belong to makers, estates, licensors, photographers or brands. We aim to use material only where there is a clear basis to do so.
Can information be corrected?
Yes. Corrections are part of serious documentation. When better evidence appears, the record should be improved rather than repeated incorrectly across multiple pages.
Do you sell new work or only secondary-market collectibles?
Precious Collectibles is primarily a collector-focused retail and reference network. Secondary-market collectibles are the current operational base, but maker-specific arrangements can be discussed where relevant.
What if a maker or estate no longer wants a gallery?
That should be handled plainly and respectfully. The aim is long-term trust, not lock-in. Any specific agreement should explain what can be changed, credited, removed or archived.
Is this only for licensed collectibles?
No. The network is especially suited to vintage and licensed collectibles, discontinued giftware lines, artist-made editions and collectible brands whose histories are scattered across old catalogues, auction listings and collector memory.
